Happy Veteran's Day!

This weekend, we stood together, united in gratitude and respect, and extended our heartfelt salute to the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our nation.

It is important we take time to honor the selfless dedication and unwavering courage of our veterans. Their sacrifices echo through the pages of history, weaving a tapestry of freedom and resilience that defines the very fabric of our great nation. In our schools and communities, let us express our deepest appreciation for the sacrifices made by these extraordinary individuals. Whether a family member, friend, colleague, or neighbor, every veteran deserves our thanks and recognition.

Hemet Unified is proud to employ close to 100 veterans who help us move our vision, mission and goals forward in support of all students district-wide. We are proud to also offer our students opportunities to engage in conversations with veterans, learn from their experiences, as well as foster an environment of understanding and respect for the sacrifices made to safeguard the liberties we hold dear through our JROTC Programs offered at our High Schools. Currently Hemet High School offers the Air Force ROTC program, Tahquitz High School offers the Marine Corps JROTC program and West Valley High School offers the Navy JROTC program.

Join us in a collective expression of gratitude, not just on Veteran’s Day but every day, for the indomitable spirit that defines our veterans. Please enjoy this Veteran’s Day tribute video.

Happy Veteran's Day, and thank you to all who have served!
